Having worked as the VP of Social Media at the renowned podcast company, PODCO, Lauren became an audio host on Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide, where she explores behind-the-scenes stories and revisits iconic moments from everyone’s favorite Nickelodeon show!
She also hosts her own podcast, Hold For Sound, a space where creativity meets conversation. Along with co-host Ava Jean (Camp Rock 3), Lauren has had the privilege of interviewing incredible guests like Kira Kosarin (The Thundermans), Anneliese van der Pol (That’s So Raven), David DeLuise (Wizards of Waverly Place), and more. Lauren Skemp is a Los Angeles and London based actress. In 2025, she completed the Advanced Acting Shakespeare program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and performed in The Winter’s Tale with their Shakespeare company. She continues to live and work in both the LA and London markets.

At the age of 15, she started writing her YA dystopian society book, Elite, and by the time the second draft was completed in 2021, it had a massive online presence. With publication on the horizon, she is excited to soon bring her story to the shelves.
